Karu District Community Handicrafts Sought After by International Tourists
LANNY JAYA-JAYA NEWS.COM – The handicrafts of the Karu District community in Lanny Jaya Regency, Papua Mountains Province, are highly sought after by local product enthusiasts.
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, a group of foreign tourists visited the community’s handicraft location and purchased them.
“Praise God, the handicrafts of the Karu District community are appreciated by international visitors. Hopefully, they can be exported abroad. This is a good example for us, the next generation,” said Yotinus Yikwa, Head Coordinator, to the press.
