Al Zaytun Community Learning Center Strengthens Governance Through Student Data Verification

It’s not just teaching and learning activities that determine the quality of education, but also thoroughness in administrative management. Accurate data is not just a series of numbers in a system, but a reflection of honesty, accountability, and the institution’s commitment to providing quality educational services. This awareness was the driving force behind the 2026 Student Data Validation and Verification (Verval) Socialization event, attended by Al Zaytun Community Learning Center at Al-Mughni Community Learning Center, Anjatan District, Indramayu Regency, on Thursday (July 16, 2026).
The event was attended by the Head of the Early Childhood Education and Non-Formal Education (PNF) Division of the Indramayu Regency Education Office, Mrs. Hj. The event was attended by Mrs. Aminah, S.Ag., M.Pd.I., along with staff, Non-Formal Education Supervisors of Indramayu Regency, and managers and operators of 16 Community Learning Centers (PKBM) from the Anjatan, Sukra, Haurgeulis, Gantar, and Patrol areas.
PKBM Al Zaytun assigned two representatives: Puji, S.H., the PKBM Al Zaytun Tutor, and Abdul Karim, M.Pd., the PKBM Al Zaytun Operator. Their presence reflects the institution’s commitment to continuously strengthening educational administration, ensuring it is more professional, accountable, and in accordance with government regulations.
In her remarks, Mrs. Hj. Aminah, S.Ag., M.Pd.I. emphasized that this outreach was held to ensure all PKBMs obtain complete and accurate information directly from authorized sources, rather than relying on fragmented information or word of mouth. She encouraged all non-formal education providers to use previous experiences as a basis for joint evaluation to improve administrative governance and enhance the quality of public education.
This message serves as a reminder that the quality of an educational institution is not only measured by the number of students or the learning activities carried out, but also by its ability to maintain the validity of all data reported to the government. Orderly administration is the foundation for building public trust in education providers.
During the event, participants received a comprehensive explanation of the 2026 Student Data Validation and Verification (Verval) mechanism. Sixteen Community Learning Centers (PKBM) attentively participated in the socialization, as the entire Verval process will form the basis for structuring the administration of non-formal education in Indramayu Regency.
The resource person explained that the compilation of student data must go through verification and validation stages according to established procedures. The entire process is carried out in accordance with laws and regulations and the provisions of the Ministry of Education through the Dapodik system. This ensures that all incoming data accurately reflects the actual conditions of students in each PKBM.
The Verval process was also announced on the occasion, scheduled for July 27 to August 8, 2026. All PKBM were asked to prepare printed copies of old student data and waiting lists for new students. If these documents cannot be presented, all students must be present in person, according to the number recorded in the Dapodik system. Students whose existence cannot be verified will be removed from the Dapodik database to enforce administrative order.
Great attention is also paid to the completeness of the administrative requirements for new students. Each prospective student is required to complete a registration form, ID card (KTP), barcoded Family Card (Kartu Keluarga), legalized diploma, and a passport photo. Incomplete documents cannot be processed until all requirements are met. This policy is part of an effort to ensure that all incoming data has a valid and accountable administrative basis.
One topic that captured the attention of participants was the information provided regarding a number of Community Learning Centers (PKBM) proposed for closure due to failure to meet administrative and operational requirements. Indramayu Regency was even named as one of the regions receiving special attention from the central government regarding the validity of non-formal education data. This information serves as a reminder that administrative order is no longer an option, but rather a necessity for every education provider.
In addition to student data, all PKBM are also required to ensure the completeness of their Operational Permit (IJOP) documents. Institutional legality is a crucial requirement because it directly relates to the implementation of learning, institutional recognition, and the issuance of diplomas to students. The legality of land, buildings, and educational permits is crucial an inseparable part of the quality of institutional governance.
In the question-and-answer session, participants took the opportunity to discuss various issues they have encountered in the field. Questions arose regarding the verification mechanism for students who work as fishermen, making it difficult to attend on schedule, the procedure for legalizing diplomas for students from outside the region, and the requirements for complete IJOP documents.
In response, the resource person explained that students unable to attend will be handled in accordance with the provisions of the Education Office. Diploma legalization must be carried out through the applicable official mechanisms, while IJOP documents must meet all legal requirements to avoid future problems.
For PKBM Al Zaytun, participation in this activity was not simply an invitation to a socialization event. More than that, this activity provided a momentum to strengthen a culture of orderly administration as part of improving the quality of educational services. The information obtained will serve as a guide for Puji, S.H., Tutor, and Abdul Karim, M.Pd. As the Operator, we prepare all administrative documents, update Dapodik data, complete supporting documents, and ensure all students are present during validation and verification processes, as directed by the Indramayu Regency Education Office.
Ultimately, the quality of education stems not only from the classroom, but also from meticulously maintaining every supporting process. Accurate administration is a form of respect for the rights of students and a manifestation of the institution’s responsibility to the community and the state.
