Spiritual Care to Maintain Human Values

The problems that arise from inner emptiness have caused many people to lose emotional warmth, compassion, and spiritual connection in their relationships with others—especially family, relatives, friends, and associates. This creates psychological problems, resulting from a spiritual crisis in which empathy, love, and compassion no longer grow and develop to produce the good of others. Thus, greed and avarice coalesce for the pursuit of more possessions, control of unlimited wealth and power.
Therefore, to fill this spiritual emptiness centered within the heart, serious spiritual practice is required to restore this innate, divine instinct to maintain balance—so that humans can understand that happiness is not merely about possessing wealth and power, for all must be achieved with honesty and sincerity—not merely logical thinking based on desires and cravings to satisfy uncontrollable passions.
Therefore, spiritual practice must also be able to tame—not only wild imagination—but equally importantly, the desire for greed and avarice to devour all that is desired and pleasing to the heart. That is why spiritual practice is almost always accompanied by fasting—not only obligatory, as in Ramadan—but often following the fasting practices of the Prophets, which are believed to provide numerous benefits.
An atmosphere of inner emptiness—spiritual desiccation—will indeed undermine the ethical, moral, and noble values of humankind, which have been truly endowed by God with divine qualities and attitudes that must be nurtured and developed, thus empowering the body and spirit inherent in humankind. So that the values of humanity as God’s most perfect creation on earth can radiate the beautiful and clear light of the sky to navigate the path of life that can never be predicted when it will end. Therefore, a truly long spiritual journey cannot be understood except to end in the grave, where one will discover even more mysteries as part of God’s secrets. It is in this similar spiritual awareness and understanding that inner vibrations develop and grow, enriching the spiritual dimension, approaching a maximum, infinite perfection.
Indeed, it would be even more terrifying for someone with a “half-empty” mind, because they could act more destructively without ever realizing that what they are doing is very dangerous or detrimental to others as a result of their actions, carried out in a belief that remains fully conscious.
It seems that this is the basis for state governance being chaotic, carried out in a crazy and reckless manner, driven by a sense of self-righteousness, rather than based on the judgment of the masses, especially the people who are always the first victims of the arbitrary actions and actions of oppressive and corrupt rulers. This is what is meant by life biologically, but death in the spiritual sense, meaning the loss of the nobility of essential human values.***
