Inauguration and Handover Ceremony for Wiralodra University Rector Takes Place Solemnly.
Indramayu, Jaya News.Com – Wiralodra University Indramayu held the inauguration and handover ceremony for the 2026-2030 Rectorship period at the Graha Wiralodra Hall, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency, West Java, on Monday (May 18, 2026).
The ceremony was held solemnly and attended by Indramayu Regent Lucky Hakim, foundation leaders, the university senate, lecturers, educational staff, invited guests, and members of partner universities.
At the event, Prof. Dr. Hj. Ipong Dekawati, M.Pd., was officially inaugurated as Rector of Wiralodra University, succeeding Prof. Dr. H. Ujang Suyatno, S.H., M.Si., who has completed his term. The inauguration ceremony was led by the Chairman of the Wiralodra Foundation, followed by the signing of the handover minutes and the pinning of the rector’s pin.
In his remarks, Regent Lucky Hakim expressed his hope that Wiralodra University would continue to develop into a university capable of producing superior and competitive generations, while also contributing to the development of Indramayu Regency.
In his remarks, the new rector expressed his commitment to continuing programs to strengthen academic quality, research, and community service.
“This trust is a great privilege. I invite the entire Wiralodra University academic community to work together to make this campus even more superior, competitive, and make a real contribution to the development of Indramayu and West Java,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Wiralodra Indramayu Foundation, Dr. H. Dudung Indramayu Ariska, S.H., M.H., expressed his appreciation for the dedication and devotion of the previous leadership and expressed his hope that the new leadership would bring progress to Wiralodra University in education, research, and community service, leading to its rise to greater heights, both nationally and internationally.
The event concluded with a prayer and a group photo, followed by a friendly gathering between the leadership, lecturers, students, and invited guests.
Wiralodra University is one of the oldest private universities in Indramayu and continues to strive to improve the quality of its education and expand collaborations with industry and international universities.
