Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien Islamic Boarding School’s Maulid Safari with the Al Mu’minin Congregation: A Moment of Unity and the Exemplary Life of the Prophet Muhammad
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – The Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien Islamic Boarding School held a Maulid Safari for the Prophet Muhammad on Friday evening (October 3, 2025) at the Al Mu’minin Mosque in Leuwigede Village, Widasari District. The event solemnly included the recitation of the Maulid Al Barzanji prayer, a religious sermon, and a grand gathering of the Al Mu’minin Congregation.
The event was moderated by Ustadz Amar Ma’ruf, S.Pd. The event was enlivened by the recitation of shalawat (prayers) from the Al-Fatah Hadroh Council, with vocalists Achmad Arie Ubaidillah, Alfin Hidayatullah, Ali Mubarok, and students from Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien enlivening the atmosphere. The presence of the surrounding community served as a tangible manifestation of togetherness and the spirit of Islamic brotherhood.
In his sermon, Abi Hamdi El Zubair, S.HI., M.Pd., the caretaker of the Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien Islamic Boarding School, delivered a profound message about the importance of education and the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). “Building a superior generation of the Prophet Muhammad’s followers must begin with providing a good education, such as in Islamic boarding schools, and by setting an example in speech and behavior. Muslims must be examples of goodness in society,” emphasized Abi Hamdi El Zubair.
Meanwhile, Ustadz Kaimin Dulkarim, A.Md.Ag., caretaker of the Al Mu’minin prayer room, expressed his appreciation for the successful Maulid Safari event, which was attended by students and congregation members. “This activity serves as a means of propagating Islam that strengthens brotherhood. Commemorating the Prophet’s birthday with the students fosters a spirit of togetherness within the community,” he said.
Saripudin, S.Pd., a religious leader from RT 03, emphasized the importance of unity in maintaining harmony among neighbors. “Let us use this Prophet’s birthday as a reminder to emulate the morals of the Prophet Muhammad, maintain harmony among residents, and continue to promote Islamic teachings in our community,” he explained.
Ustadz Drs. Tahapi, S.Ag., a religious figure from Leuwigede Village, added the importance of social awareness among believers. “Humans live to get to know each other and build a shared awareness of mutual assistance. Allah SWT and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) love people whose lives are beneficial to others,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Khoeri, M.Pd., Relima Indramayu and Library Manager of S16, emphasized the value of historical literacy for Muslims. “Patience in historical literacy is the foundation for strengthening faith. Praiseworthy examples must be directed towards the true idol, namely the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),” he explained.
This Maulid Safari not only commemorates the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), but also serves as a forum to strengthen the unity of the community, deepen love for the Prophet, and affirm the community’s commitment to emulating his morals in their daily lives.**
