Supporting Food Security, Brebes Police Accompany Corn Harvest in Losari and Banjarharjo
BREBES-JAYA NEWS.COM – In order to support the government program of the President of the Republic of Indonesia’s Asta Cita in terms of Food Security, the ranks of the Brebes Police provided assistance in the implementation of the corn harvest in each village.
This was carried out by the Banjarharjo Police and the Losari Police, Brebes Police on Friday (06/13/2025).
Brebes Police Chief AKBP Achmad Oka Mahendra through the Head of Human Resources, Kompol Subagyo as the Head of the Food Security Task Force said that the 2 locations that carried out the corn harvest were each in the rice fields of Karangsembung Village, Losari District and Cihaur Village, Banjarharjo District, Brebes Regency.
“This assistance is part of the efforts of the Police together with the government to support President Prabowo Subiyanto’s Asta Cita in terms of food security,” explained the Head of Human Resources.
Police Commissioner Subagyo revealed that from the 2 locations that carried out the corn harvest with an area of approximately 7,500 square meters, it could produce around 6.2 tons of corn.
“The cultivation was carried out by local farmer groups in collaboration with land owners,” he explained.
In this assistance activity, the Head of HR said, in addition to the Police led by the Police Chief, each Forkpinca and Village Government were also involved to jointly carry out the activity.
This togetherness is a symbol of collaboration between sectors in order to support the central government’s program in the field of food security, as one of the national priorities under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.
This activity is also an important momentum to continue to strengthen the role of security forces and government in assisting farmers and ensuring food stability
