Lesh Dewika, Versatile Artist and Prolific Writer
JAKARTA-JAYA NEWS COM – Lesh Dewika, a versatile artist and prolific writer, has honed her talents in writing, drawing, and painting since an early age. Her academic achievements were outstanding, marked by consecutive wins in various national-level Scientific Writing Competitions (LKTM) while studying English Literature at Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta.
Her writing career restarted in 2017 with her first non-fiction book, “Creative Drawing & Writing Short Stories.” She then published her debut novel, “Benang Merah” (2020), followed by “Labirin Ungu” (2021), both included in the Color of Feelings Trilogy. Her most recent work is the short story collection “SENYUM” (2022). Furthermore, Lesh is also active as a co-founder of the Ngulik Literasi Community.
Beyond her literary work, Lesh also has an extensive portfolio as a freelance editor and layout artist. He has edited the books “The Secret of Flight Attendant” (2018) and “Derap Langkah Sang Generasi” (2019). As an artist, Lesh has participated in various national and international exhibitions since 2015. He currently serves as Art & Creative Director at VIBE Center Indonesia, a design consultancy for social development and literacy projects based in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
Amidst his busy schedule as an English and art teacher, Lesh continues to create and is currently preparing his third novel. (***)
