Inauguration of the Hilal Himawan Institute Political School Building, Improving the Capacity and Quality of Political Education
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – The Hilal Himawan Institute Political School today inaugurated a new building located in Singajaya Village, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency, West Java. It is expected to improve the capacity and quality of political education in Indramayu. The building is equipped with adequate facilities and infrastructure, comfortable study and discussion rooms, and advanced technology to support the teaching and learning process. The inauguration was conducted and signed by prominent political figure Budiman Sudjatmiko, Head of the Task Force for Political Education, and was attended by the Regent of Indramayu, Lucky Hakim, academics, and political activists.
In his remarks, Hilal Himawan, M.IP., a member of the West Java Provincial DPRD from the Golkar Faction, stated that the new building is an important step in improving the quality of political education in Indramayu.
“Hopefully, the construction of this political school will improve the capacity and quality of political education for the people of Indramayu and the surrounding areas,” he said.
He also stated, “Our goal is to increase awareness and active participation of village communities in overseeing the democratic process.”
At this event, Budiman Sudjatmiko, Head of the BP Taskin (Regional Elections Supervisory Agency), served as the main resource person, providing political education to the participants.
In his presentation, Budiman Sudjatmiko emphasized that the material presented at the Political School aligns with the Indramayu regional government’s efforts to eradicate poverty.
“This is part of open public education. This political education program is also part of long-term preparations for the election, including through the recruitment of supervisory and evaluation cadres for a more professional and integrated election organizer selection mechanism,” Budiman Sudjatmiko explained.
Didik Himawan, Advisor to the Hilal Himawan Institute, added that such activities should continue to be promoted as they are very beneficial for the younger generation.
“This activity provides valuable knowledge and in-depth understanding of the material, with competent speakers,” he said.
The new building of the Hilal Hilmawan Political School is equipped with modern facilities, such as comfortable classrooms, a spacious library, and adequate discussion rooms. Furthermore, the building is equipped with adequate infrastructure, such as a sophisticated audio-visual system and fast internet connection.
With this new building, the Hilal Hilmawan Political School hopes to increase the capacity and quality of political education in Indramayu. This building is expected to become a center of excellence in political education and serve as a model for other political education institutions.
