WB PKBM Al Zaytun: Age May Be Mature, Passion Still Burns

INDRAMAYU-JAYANEWS.COM – The morning sun on the eastern horizon greeted the courtyard of the Al-Zaytun PKBM Bazaar Building with its scorching rays on Saturday (April 18th). However, the increasingly warming temperature did not dampen the enthusiasm of dozens of people striving to achieve their dreams through equivalent education. Under the clear skies of Indramayu, an inspiring sight was presented as Package C students took the Equivalency Education Exam (UPK) for Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK).
After performing a group exercise routine, the atmosphere transitioned from communal joy to elegant tension at precisely 8:45 a.m. WIB. Thirty Package C students prepared for the formalities, transforming into dedicated practitioners.

Discipline Wrapped in Movement Aesthetics.

This exam focused on mastering basic gymnastics movements. This is a blend of physical discipline and rhythmic beauty. Under the watchful eye of Physical Education (PJOK) Tutor Nurrohmah, A.Ma.Ph., each participant is tested not only on movement, but also on demonstrating precise hand-foot coordination and proportional power in each movement transition.
Academically, this practical exam is not only a prerequisite for graduation, but also a manifestation of kinesthetic understanding. The examiner carefully provides objective assessments of every arm swing and footstep, ensuring that sports competency standards are maintained even within the confines of extracurricular education.

Beyond Age Limits.

One thing that captivates the eyes of every witness is the profiles of the participants. The majority of the students are well into their twenties, over 40 years old. However, these numbers are merely meaningless digits in the face of the energy they radiate. Their movements remain energetic, demonstrating that the spirit of learning and maintaining physical fitness has no expiration date.
Every drop of sweat that falls on the courtyard of the Bazaar Building seems to be a silent testament to their tenacity. A seriousness radiated from the faces of these seniors, a testament to the high integrity and dignity of the equivalent education program at Al-Zaytun Community Learning Center (PKBM).

Immortalized in the Lens.

These beautiful, heroic moments were not allowed to fade away. Through the camera of Ustadzah Rohmatun Aliyah, S.Pd., from the documentation department, every detail of the students’ precise movements and determined expressions was captured beautifully. This documentation will become a valuable archive and tangible evidence of Al-Zaytun PKBM’s dedication to producing graduates who are physically and mentally healthy.
The morning’s physical education (PJOK) practical exam concluded at 9:30 a.m. WIB with overflowing gratitude. It was a portrait of education that doesn’t just pursue grades on paper, but also celebrates the resilience of the human body and soul.
