Pedex Mania FC Wins 2025 Kapolres Cup, Rohul Police Chief Officially Closes Prestigious Football Tournament
ROKAN HULU-JAYA NEWS.COM – Rokan Hulu Police Chief, AKBP Emil Eka Putra, officially closed the 2025 Kapolres Cup Open Football Champion Tournament, marked by the final match between Liberti FC and Pedex Mania FC. The final match was held at the Karang Taruna Haiti Karya Green Field, Rambah Tengah Barat Village, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency, on Thursday (January 29, 2026) at approximately 4:00 PM WIB.
The football tournament, which featured 55 clubs from various regions, was a lively affair and garnered high enthusiasm from the public. Hundreds of spectators packed the field to watch the final match.
In attendance at the closing ceremony were Rokan Hulu Police Chief, AKBP Emil Eka Putra, the Head of the Rokan Hulu Regency Culture and Tourism Office, the Rambah District Head, the Rambah Sector Police Chief, the Rambah Tengah Barat Village Head, and other invited guests.
In his remarks, the Head of West Central Rambah Village, Sopian Daulay, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties who contributed to the success of the tournament, especially the donors and the organizing committee. “Thank God, thanks to the support of everyone, this tournament ran safely and smoothly from start to finish,” said Sopian.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Regent of Rokan Hulu for his support in organizing the tournament. “On behalf of the people of West Central Rambah Village, we would like to thank the Regent for his support,” he added.
Sopian hopes that the tournament will be even more successful in the future, starting with the renovation of the Karang Taruna Haiti Karya Green Field to meet competition standards. “Field repairs and grandstand renovations will be the first steps, so this football field can become a tournament icon in Rokan Hulu,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rokan Hulu Police Chief, AKBP Emil Eka Putra, commended the committee for their hard work in successfully organizing the 2025 Kapolres Cup Open Football Champion Tournament in an orderly and conducive manner. “I would like to thank all the committee members and related parties. Throughout the tournament, no untoward incidents occurred, and this is commendable,” said Emil.
He hopes similar tournaments will continue and involve more people, given the high level of interest and solidarity in soccer. “The public’s enthusiasm was extraordinary. I strongly support this tournament being held in future years on a larger scale,” he said.
The Police Chief also assessed the final match as exciting and entertaining. “Both teams played very well. But in every match, there are always winners and losers. For those who didn’t win, use this as a lesson for the next match,” he concluded.
In the final, Pedex Mania FC emerged victorious after winning 1-0 on penalties. For this victory, Pedex Mania FC took home the trophy and Rp30 million in prize money. Meanwhile, Liberti FC, the runner-up, received the trophy and Rp20 million in prize money.
