BLOOD PRESSURE
Blood pressure,
fluctuates
injected
dry season
measured by a pair of hands
elderly bride
remains faithful
(previously they longed to enter a mercury tube
exploding with anxiety
burned by fire
continuing to burn)
Blood pressure,
until the woman’s head and eyes
spin and dance
on the sun’s body
without a sound
(giving birth to opinions like arguing for a priest to channel anxiety on a wet bed that can no longer move)
Blood pressure,
emergency room
hopefully leave a story
three centuries have passed
no deaths
until mercy closes
or until God comes
