Can President Prabowo not follow the USA?

Don’t blame foreigners, but be honest with this nation about history, so that it doesn’t fail—the history of the Indonesian nation.
First, acknowledge that since the dissolution of the United States of America (RIS) into a Unitary State, the Adoptive Father (leader of the Commonwealth) shifted from the Netherlands to the USA.
Second, consider the USA’s role in the Renvil Agreement of 1948, the National Conference of Nations (KTN) of 1949, the PRRI/Permesta, the fall of Sukarno and Suharto, and the transfer of West Papua from the Netherlands to Indonesia.
So, Indonesia followed the USA, such as entering the BOP and handing over Kertajati Airport in Majalengka, regardless of public criticism and rejection, because if it refused, it would suffer the same fate as Madura from Venezuela.
Yusril also wants to remain in the Wowo Cabinet. He can’t be blunt, but he’s giving good signals.**
