BAMAG Jombang Holds Joint Christmas Celebration, Attended by 1,500 Congregants from 49 Churches
JOMBANG-JAYA NEWS.COM – The Inter-Church Deliberation Body (BAMAG) of Jombang Regency organized a joint Christmas celebration for 2025 at Merdeka Sports Center (GOR) in Jombang on Tuesday (1/13/2026). The event, which carried the theme “God is Present to Save Families,” was attended by approximately 1,500 congregants from 49 churches.
Out of a total of 120 churches invited and affiliated with BAMAG, 49 churches participated in enlivening the joint Christmas celebration due to venue capacity constraints.
The event was also attended by members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of Jombang Regency, the Inter-Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) of Jombang, community leaders, and religious figures.
The Chairman of the BAMAG Jombang Christmas 2025 Committee, Pastor Feki Tololiu, S.Th., expressed appreciation for the participants’ enthusiasm.
“With this joint Christmas celebration, it is hoped that it can strengthen the unity and solidarity of churches in Jombang,” said Pastor Feki in his remarks.
Jombang Regent, represented by Budi Winarno, ST., M.Si., stated that the Christmas celebration could serve as a momentum for strengthening inter-religious harmony. According to him, harmony is key to keeping Jombang conducive.
“The Regent is committed to improving the welfare of Jombang residents in terms of infrastructure, health, and assistance that residents truly need,” said Budi Winarno, conveying the Regent’s message.
The Chairman of BAMAG Jombang expressed gratitude to the government, community, and all BAMAG members for the successful joint Christmas celebration.
“May Christmas strengthen unity, solidarity, and inter-religious harmony,” he hoped.
Pastor Hans Soediro, who served as the keynote speaker, delivered a reflection in accordance with the event’s theme. Pastor Hans called on Christians to make a positive impact and be a blessing to others.
“God is present to save families,” was his message.
The event became more festive with various artistic performances from congregants. Choirs from GKJW Mojowarno and GPDI Sawahan captivated the audience with their performances. Additionally, a music group of Christian students from Jombang Regency also contributed to enlivening the celebration.
The BAMAG Jombang Christmas 2025 celebration took place solemnly and was filled with togetherness, reflecting the spirit of unity in diversity. This event serves as proof of the commitment to maintaining harmony among religious communities in Jombang Regency.
