What is the response of the Regent of Indramayu and the 2025 Indramayu Regency Simultaneous Pilwu Committee to the Bandung Administrative Court lawsuit, case number 212/G/2025/PTUN BDG, which will be heard on December 1, 2025?
The lawsuit will examine:
1. The Committee’s decision to pass candidates with Package B and C qualifications.
2. The score-based assessment of candidates.
The consequences of this case are:
First, the Tinumpuk Village Head Election is null and void.
Second, the use of village head election funds by the committee constitutes a corruption case as stipulated in Article 2 (1) of the Corruption Law, which carries a minimum sentence of 4 years and a maximum sentence of 20 years.
Third, passing candidates with “Package B” and “C” certificates is also a criminal case under Article 266 of the Criminal Code, which carries a maximum sentence of 7 years.**
