Polindra Lecturers Ready for National Certification as LSP Assessors

INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – Polindra (Indramayu State Polytechnic) is optimistic that 100% of its lecturers will graduate as nationally certified LSP (Professional Certification Institute) assessors. This is after Polindra held a Competency Assessor Training on November 10-13, 2025, attended by lecturers.

The Head of Polindra’s LSP, Moh. Ali Fikri, told the press on Friday, November 14, 2025, that LSPs play a strategic role in confirming student competency and that the competency certificates issued are internationally valid.

The training, attended by two master assessors from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), is expected to improve the quality of Polindra graduates and make them more competitive in the workforce.

Following the expiration of the LSP license for one year, Polindra is implementing a re-licensing program that also requires the availability of assessor resources.

To that end, from Monday to Friday, the campus held Competency Assessor Training for lecturers.

One of the training participants, Fauzan Ishlakhuddin, S.Kom., M.Cs., said that the training provided valuable experience for the lecturers.

“This training has opened the door to the realization that competency assessments must be conducted in a structured and objective manner.

This knowledge is crucial for us to help students obtain nationally recognized competency certification,” he said.

Fauzan continued, “With the direct involvement of lecturers in the assessment process, Polindra is optimistic that the LSP can function more strongly and professionally in supporting the improvement of the quality of Indramayu State Polytechnic graduates.”
