ICMI Chairman Prof. Dr. Arif Satria Attends the Second National Conference of Alisa “Khadijah” ICMI in Semarang
SEMARANG-JAYA NEWS.COM – The opportunities and challenges of Muslim women entrepreneurs towards a Golden Indonesia 2045 were discussed at the National Conference of Alisa “Khadijah” of the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI) in Semarang.
The National Conference, held in Semarang from July 29-31, 2025, was attended by representatives from cities and regencies across Indonesia.
The event began with an upgrading session led by Poppy Rufaidah, Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University.
Poppy discussed the importance of building a strong and unified organizational image.
“Consumers can only remember three keywords, so Alisa “Khadijah” ICMI needs to strengthen her branding to become more widely known,” she said.
Poppy also discussed the importance of digital transformation in business. “Many young people have become successful affiliates and earned significant profits simply by promoting certain brands,” he said.
The Chairman of ICMI and also the Rector of IPB University, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria, SP, MSi, stated that creativity and innovation are crucial for future survival.
“The ability to imagine, be creative, and learn are key to making an organization more sustainable,” he emphasized.
Other Topics
Several topics were discussed in this activity. Among them, “Building Organizational Image” discussed the importance of building a strong and unified organizational image to increase public awareness and trust.
The next topic, “Digital Transformation,” specifically discussed the role of digital transformation in improving business efficiency and effectiveness.
Furthermore, “Creativity and Innovation,” discussed the importance of creativity and innovation in facing changing times and increasing competitiveness.
There was also “Opportunities and Challenges for Muslim Women Entrepreneurs,” which examined the opportunities and challenges faced by Muslim women entrepreneurs in Indonesia and how to overcome them.
Expanding the Network of Muslim Women’s MSMEs
Nur Fateah, M.A., a lecturer in Entrepreneurship in Javanese Language Education at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Unnes, and a member of Alisa “Khadijah” of the Indonesian Muslim Women’s Association (ICMI) Semarang City, who attended the event, stated that the national conference also served as a way to foster camaraderie and expand the network of Muslim women’s MSMEs in Indonesia.
Several representatives of MSMEs led by Muslim women held a bazaar at the conference.
This event provided a platform for MSMEs to introduce their products and expand their networks.
Various products were exhibited, including those developed by Alisa “Khadijah” from various provinces.
“Events like this will be able to boost the progress of MSMEs, enabling them to continue innovating and introducing their products throughout the country,” said Nur Fateah.**
