Benyamin Netanyahu’s Threat to Indonesia Due to Supporting Independence and Peace for Palestine

President Prabowo Subianto’s views and attitudes regarding the heated Palestine-Israel conflict hinted at in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in April 2025 to stop the war and condemn the hypocritical attitude of the superpower towards the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza sparked the anger of Benjamin Netanyahu.
President Prabowo Subianto also emphasized that Gaza has suffered greatly, and now is the time to build and call for humanitarian assistance and reconstruction as soon as possible. Prabowo Subianto even repeatedly emphasized that Indonesia’s stance is open to supporting a solution for the two countries in conflict in Palestine towards a just and sustainable path of peace. Prabowo Subianto urged Israel to recognize Palestinian independence as the main condition for achieving true peace.
In a press conference with President Macron in May 2025, the President of Indonesia officially stated that he was ready to establish diplomatic relations with Israel, if Israel recognizes the State of Palestine and provides security assurance for Israel.
Indonesia’s commitment is ready to evacuate, treat up to 1000 injured Palestinians along with orphans in Indonesian hospitals and send medical teams to Gaza and the West Bank.
The President of Indonesia has conducted direct diplomacy with the Leaders of Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan to help push for the Gaza Peace Conference with France and Saudi Arabia. Indonesia is even ready to contribute peacekeeping troops if needed, he said.
So, real solidarity for the people of Gaza is not just rhetoric. In diplomacy, the choice of a persuasive path through a two-state solution by recognizing Palestinian independence. So, the normalization of Indonesia’s relations with Israel is very dependent on the recognition of Palestinian independence. Indonesia’s active role on the global stage for peace for humanity.
It seems that this statement of the Indonesian President’s attitude made Benjamin Netanyahu jealous and confused, thus positioning Indonesia as an enemy of Israel who feels big-headed because it receives total support from the United States and the West. Thus, Benjamin Netanyahu strongly opposes Indonesia’s diplomatic efforts, especially for a two-state solution and recognition of the independence of the Palestinian people in their own ancestral land. In fact, Indonesia’s stance conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto on various occasions was considered by Benyamin Netanyahu as a threat to Israel’s security.
Benyamin Netanyahu’s harsh criticism of the Indonesian and French initiative on May 28, 2025 between Prabowo Subianto and Macron, was viewed by Benyamin Netanyahu as very negative and not beneficial to Israel. And rejecting the recognition of Palestine as a “big prize for terror” and threatening that such unilateral steps would trigger annexation or retaliation from Israel.
It seems that on that basis, Benyamin Netanyahu’s open statement openly – such as trust in various written media and in video form – will also plan to attack Indonesia – as one of the most vocal and foremost countries defending Palestine. If Israel really is going to attack Indonesia, Benyamin Netanyahu Singgih’s ridiculousness is as arrogant as Donald Trump who is now being rejected by the people of the United States himself by carrying out large-scale actions such as those carried out in Dan Diago on June 22, 2025. This means that the Donald Trump administration also needs to be removed from the map of relations with Indonesia. And after the American Military base was bombarded by Iran, Iran ignored its arrogant attitude by unilaterally declaring a ceasefire. Because the United States itself, together with Israel and its allies, wanted to threaten to ignite World War III. In fact, the Supreme Leader of Iran has been preparing three people to replace him for the past week, if he must die. This means that the Iranian nation is ready to die for the independence of the Palestinian nation. Like the Indonesian nation which has vowed that colonialism in the world must be abolished. Including for and for the Palestinian nation as brothers who have also supported and defended Indonesia quite a lot.**
