The conflict over Palestine and Israel has indeed been marked since the time of the Prophet until it lasted thousands of years later, at least it started to resurface after World War II and the Holocaust — many Jews returned or immigrated to Palestine, especially Israel which they considered their original homeland. Even though they had left for thousands of years. And tried to establish the state of Israel in 1948 which triggered tensions with the local and surrounding residents — Palestinian Arabs — who had long settled in the area.
Meanwhile, the first King of Israel was Saul until King Solomonoutra Prophet David the kingdom was divided into two and the Northern Kingdom of Judah ended in 722 BC. While the Southern Kingdom of Judah ended in 586 BC. Since then the Israeli dynasty that came from the Prophet Isaac who gave birth to the Prophet Jacob who built the Israelite lineage has disappeared. But since the end of the two kingdoms — at least since 772 BC — Israel has been left to suffer and all Jews have wandered to other countries.
That is the dramatic story that happened more than 1000 years later, the story of Israel resurfaced to return to the homeland they had left for so long. Until after experiencing expulsion from various countries where they were staying, it always caused chaos and unrest. That is how world history records the expulsion of Jews from France in 1182, expulsion from England in 1290, expulsion from Spain in 1492, expulsion from Portugal in 1497, and expulsion from Germany, Italy, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Russia, Switzerland in the 13th and 14th centuries which was truly tragic because all countries or kingdoms at that time not only expelled, but also treated severe discrimination against Jews in various historical periods related to social, economic, religious and political problems.
Because in religion Jews are considered a different group. Antisemitism, especially from the Catholic Church, which had treated discrimination and expulsion. Likewise, negative stereotypes inherent in society often ignited an inevitable attitude of hostility.
Then Britain, who wanted to use Jews as supporters of colonial politics, strategic interests and international pressure in the early 20th century by making the Balfour Declaration in 1917 which stated support for a “homeland for the Jewish people” in Palestine, after a long time and being hit by various rebukes and expulsions from the country they were living in until they left their own hometown for a long time.
The Balfour Declaration was published in the form of a letter from Foreign Minister Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, a Zionist figure. This tragedy occurred during World War I, and Britain was very hopeful of getting support from Jews scattered in various countries, especially the United States and Russia at that time which were quite heavily populated by Jews.
Then the British mandate over Palestine from 1920-1948, after the Ottoman Empire lost World War I, the League of Nations gave the Palestine mandate to Britain. Since then, Jewish immigration to Palestine has increased sharply. And after World War II and the Holocaust, international pressure to provide a place for Jews increased in Pakistan, despite the rejection of the local population, especially the Arabs.
In addition, Britain wanted to maintain its influence in the Middle East, including making an alliance with the new Jewish state.
As the Arab-Jewish conflict heated up, Britain was reluctant and afraid to become a controller or a dampener of this increasingly heated feud. Until finally handing over the problem to the UN (United Nations) which actually made the situation worse by recommending the division of territory in 1947 and Britain could walk freely from 1948 until Israel could declare its independence.
That’s how British and UN business is, as if giving land use rights in Palestine for the establishment of the State of Israel which continues to ignite the feud to this day, never extinguished. Or even more blazing and burning to devour anything and anyone involved in it. Especially the United States, of course. Like a tragic story of a colossal drama about Jews, which was scripted in a classic style by the British Empire, directed by America with UN sponsorship will soon end in a spectacle that is more tragic and more terrible than previously thought.**
