Essay Poetry Is a Marriage Between the Language of the Heart and the Language of the Brain

Poetry is not a literature that monopolizes beautiful, expressive language and conveys deep meaning, because poetry is dominant in expressing feelings so that the words spoken use the language of the heart, almost without using the brain. Because of that, poetry is very imaginative and has a distinctive rhythm and rhyme.
More than that, poetry is somewhat more expressive, containing human feelings and emotions that make it with a very personal style and appearance. No exception for classical poetry, modern poetry or contemporary poetry or even the most Avantgarde. But what is clearer, poetry can be more enjoyable to enjoy, because poetry provides a wider space to be interpreted in various ways or even the joy of taste and desire and passion of its connoisseurs.
So poetry is like a servant to pamper its audience as a master to be served and listen to the voice of his heart and can be used as the most effective means and us to express feelings, without having to be too obedient and obedient to the authority of the mind which is often authoritarian and oppresses freedom and independence.
Therefore, poetry is an expression of the language of the heart, not the language of the brain, let alone one that is pretentiously scientific. Then here is the link between the marriage of the language of the heart and the language of the brain that gives birth to offspring called essay poetry. Because the essay is originally a direct descendant of the brain, so that the type of DNA (Dioxyribo Nucleic Acid) is very fanatical about the power of reason. So in the cross-breeding between the gender of poetry and the gender of the essay – the position can be male and female or vice versa – until later when it produces the results of the cross-breeding, it only remains which chromosome is stronger and more dominant, it will depend greatly on the strength of which gender has superior lust.
This means that if the chromosome – the structure that builds the genetic function and protein to reproduce fertilized cells – will greatly determine the results (products) that are born. If the dominant one is poetry, then the nuance and frequency of literature will be more prominent, but if the opposite is true, then the dominant one marks the handsomeness or beauty of the essay poetry work and vice versa.
In short, for me, essay poetry is exactly like the marriage of humans from different ethnic groups to build a new ethnic group — a hybrid — between the mind of the heart and the mind of the brain. So, it’s like a marriage between two ethnic groups, Javanese and Lampung, or Lampung and Javanese.
What is certain is that if the dominant one is the gender of poetry, then the offspring of the essay poetry work will dominantly have strong literary characteristics. But if the opposite is true — essay is dominant — then the language of the brain will color the character and character of the work called essay poetry more.
From the understanding and comprehension and awareness of the presence of this essay poetry, it can be understood that there is an oddity in same-sex marriage that is naib and difficult, because same-sex marriage seems strange and even forbidden. Because the meaning can be called LGBT — it is not only difficult to understand, let alone be accepted by reason and a sane literary culture. Because just to explain about excess, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) it takes 6 semesters of study at a college that has courses on the causes of abnormalities from these strange natural deviations. Therefore, it is better to study essay poetry more seriously, so that the Indonesian literary treasures that seem to be in a coma do not really die.
