Preserving the Ancestral Cultural Traditions of Tambak Village Indramayu, Holding Unjung Buyut Marta
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – The hereditary traditions of the people of Tambak Village, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency, are still being preserved to this day.
The preservation of these traditional customs was held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Buyut Marta cemetery complex.
H. Janani, representing the Unjung Buyut Marta committee, explained the activity to Nuryaji, Jaya-News.Com Journalist, Sunday afternoon, May 18, 2025.
H. Janani continued, the activity was carried out since the morning, in the form of a parade of entertainment and tumpeng to eat together.
The peak event of Unjung Buyut Marta, was held with a joint prayer at 15.00 WIB, attended by the Deputy Regent of Indramayu, Muspimcam Indramayu, Tambak Village Apparatus, community leaders, invited guests and residents.
“After the joint prayer, the committee held entertainment, in the form of a Dwi Warna drama performance,” concluded H. Janani.***
