Education and learning are needed to increase knowledge and understanding of various things, such as science, technology and humanity as well as morals to customs and traditions.
Education and learning are also expected to improve skills through training – physical and spiritual education – for the balance of body and soul to be healthy and harmonious.
More than that, what is important in education and learning is the effort to increase spiritual awareness and get closer to God with the persistence of developing good and commendable characters, such as patience, honesty, sincerity and true empathy.
So the essence of education and learning is not just an effort to increase critical, analytical, creative, innovative and inventive thinking skills, but also to form a strong mental and spiritual to face various complex and complicated challenges and problems of life, so that the quality of life can be maximized for oneself and can benefit others.
Therefore, education and learning are very important to expand knowledge, improve intelligence and skills and spiritual awareness to strengthen character and ability to think and behave more civilized and humanely.
Therefore, intelligence of mind for humans cannot be considered sufficient to mature themselves in thinking to acting to showing a wise and wise attitude in the order of ethics, morals and noble morals of humans who receive nature from Allah as khalifatullah on earth. Because from intelligence of mind can help understand and analyze information, knowledge and knowledge obtained, but still get can produce a wise and wise action or decision, so that it can be more beneficial for oneself and others.
Wise and wise attitude itself is very dependent on life experience – although there is still a small part of it that can be obtained from education and teaching – which is effective and efficient and comprehensive in nature.
