Accelerating the Dream of Establishing a New West Indramayu Regency?

Luki SAE volunteers were enthusiastic and aggressive about establishing a new West Indramayu regency, despite the lack of regulatory and budgetary support.
It turns out that Lamsijan’s suspicions were correct, as they are relevant to Presidential Decree No. 87 of 2021 concerning the Rebana Metropolitan Area. Indramayu is one of seven regencies within the Rebana Metropolitan Zone.

The 2025-2029 Indramayu Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) accommodates the following Industrial Designation Areas:

*Balongan KPI, 1,545.62 hectares.
*Krakngkeng KPI, 1,033.42 hectares.
*Losarang Kandanghaur KPI, 6,342 hectares.
*Tukdana KPI, 164.47 hectares.
*Gantar KPI, 1,552.35 hectares.
*Patrol Sukra KPI, 3,465 hectares.

Conglomerates have already registered in the KPIs, namely
In Patrol Sukra KPI, PT Tesco Indomaritim Internasional, PT Mitra Korin Word, PT Jasa Global Bina Karya, and CV Plentong Prima.

Losarang KPI is PT Jateng Land/PT Wiratama Perkasa.
In Krangkeng KPI is PT Sun Bright Lestari Jakarta.

Gantar KPI is PT Jaya Mas Surya Sentosa and PT Free View Internasional.

If so, what is the main benefit of establishing West Indramayu Regency, which still involves licensing and land acquisition, while the general public simply enjoys being spectators?
