Rambatan Kulon Indramayu Resident’s House Collapses, Kasmen Survives the Rubble
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – Kasmen (75 years old) lives alone after her husband passed away. She is a resident of RT 027 RW 004 Rambatan Kulon Village, Lohbener District.
In her daily life, Kasmen relies on only what little strength she has, trying to eke out a living.
However, unexpectedly, early this morning, Monday, November 17, 2025, at around 5:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, the side of her house collapsed while Kasmen was sweeping the floor. Fortunately, the collapse of the side structure did not hit her.
Kasmen’s house is riddled with holes, some of the walls are peeling, and the roof is leaking. However, Kasmen cannot afford to repair it.
She submitted a request to the relevant authorities in October 2025, but has not received a response.
Kasmen can now only surrender to the current situation.
