INDRAMAYU-JAYANEWS.COM – Politeknik Negeri Indramayu (Polindra) has officially established cooperation with PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Human Resource Development and the Implementation of the Higher Education Tri Dharma.
The event was held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Meeting Room on the 1st Floor of the Directorate Building of Polindra.
The delegation from PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia was welcomed directly by the Director of Polindra, Ir. Rofan Aziz, S.T., M.T., IPM., along with the leadership and academic community of Polindra. Representing PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia, the event was attended by Mr. Too Wee Yun, President Director of PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia.
The signing of the MoU marks a strategic step in strengthening synergy between vocational education and the industrial sector.
In his remarks, Director of Polindra, Ir. Rofan Aziz, stated that collaboration between higher education institutions and industry plays a vital role in creating mutual benefits for both parties.
“Through the implementation of the Higher Education Tri Dharma, Polindra is expected to contribute solutions to the needs and challenges faced by the industry. On the other hand, this cooperation also serves as a means to prepare and produce excellent, competent human resources in line with industrial development needs,” he said.
In line with this, Mr. Too Wee Yun, President Director of PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia, expressed his appreciation for the signing of the MoU.
“This collaboration lays a strong foundation for both parties to further strengthen cooperation, especially in human resource development and the implementation of the Higher Education Tri Dharma. Moving forward, the synergy between Polindra and PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia is expected to produce various collaborative programs that provide tangible benefits for education, industry, and the development of qualified human resources,” he stated.
With this MoU, Polindra and PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia open up great opportunities for internship programs, training, applied research, and graduate recruitment tailored to the needs of the manufacturing industry.**
