Equitable and inclusive education is no longer just discourse on paper. Amid various social and economic challenges that often limit public access to formal education, Community Learning Centers (PKBM) are present as a bridge.
One institution that continues to demonstrate its commitment to this movement is PKBM Al Zaytun. Through a series of equality education programs, adaptive skills training, and entrepreneurship potential development, this institution takes an active role in producing a generation that is independent, skilled, and ready to compete in the face of changing times.
For some learners, the path to a formal classroom is often hindered by economic limitations, the demand to work at a young age, and various other life conditions. This is where PKBM Al Zaytun embraces those who have been left behind.
The institution provides equality education services: Package A equivalent to elementary school, Package B equivalent to junior high school, and Package C equivalent to senior high school, packaged flexibly without reducing the quality of learning. This approach allows students from various age backgrounds to continue their education without having to sacrifice their daily responsibilities or jobs.
The learning process at PKBM Al Zaytun does not only focus on academic graduation and diplomas. More than that, learners are equipped with various life skills programs and practical training. Information technology training, craft and fashion skills, and independent business assistance are provided to ensure graduates have real competitiveness and economic readiness when entering the world of work and industry.
The impact of this holistic approach is now being felt by students. Self-confidence that had faded is now growing again along with the increasing knowledge and skills they have mastered.
