Cimanoek City Park Becomes a New Hangout Attraction in Indramayu
INDRAMAYU, Jaya News.Com – If you’re looking for a cool, free, and lively place to hang out in the afternoon, Indramayu residents now have a new favorite: Cimanoek City Park.
This park, located in the city center, has recently become popular with young people, families, and communities. It has a fun atmosphere, complete facilities, and most importantly, it’s free.
A Favorite Hangout Spot Morning, Afternoon, and Night.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. WIB, the park benches are already filling up. Some people bring supplies, drink coffee, play guitar, or just sit and chat while enjoying the evening breeze.
“I come here every afternoon with my friends. The place is clean, well-lit, and safe. It’s also a great place to do assignments,” said Dono, 49, a visitor we met at the park on Monday (July 27, 2026).

The Indramayu Regency Government recently renovated Cimanoek Park. It now features:
1. *Jogging track & seating area*
2. *LED park lights* – so it’s safe even at night
3. *Free Wi-Fi* – for young people working/doing assignments
4. *Photo spots & flower gardens* – a popular spot for TikTok/IG content
5. *Public restrooms & prayer room*
MSME vendors are also allowed to sell in designated areas. So, you can rest assured: there’s cilok (traditional Indonesian food), seblak (spicy rice), iced tea, and even coffee.
Residents’ Hopes
The Head of the Indramayu Public Works and Housing Agency, Erpin Marpinda S.Sos., M.H., said the park’s renovation aims to create a healthy public space.
“We want residents to have a comfortable place to socialize. But please maintain togetherness. Don’t litter and maintain order,” he said.
Residents hope that in the future, the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) will extend operating hours and add trash bins to keep the park clean.
With its fun atmosphere and easy access, Cimanoek City Park has officially become a new favorite hangout spot for Indramayu residents. No need to go to an expensive cafe; it’s free here, but you can still get the vibe.
