Ahead of Ramadan, the Geplak Journalists Forum Shares with Orphans and the Underprivileged
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – The GEPLAK Journalists Forum once again demonstrated its concern for others through a social action, distributing aid to orphans and the underprivileged. The activity was held at the residence of the GEPLAK Advisory Board member, Wari, in the Bojongsari Village on Saturday (February 14, 2026).
In a warm atmosphere, dozens of orphans and the underprivileged received cash assistance.
A sense of emotion and togetherness was palpable as the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the attention shown.
The Chairman of the GEPLAK Journalists Forum, Ali Zaidan, stated that this social activity is a routine agenda that will continue as part of its commitment to helping those in need.
He added that as the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijri approaches, journalists play a role not only in conveying information but also in directly benefiting their surrounding communities.
“Through this action, we want to share happiness and ease the burden on orphans and the underprivileged. This is also an opportunity to strengthen ties and foster empathy within the community,” he said.
Ali hopes that similar activities can continue and receive support from various parties, including the government, the private sector, and the general public.
He also expressed his gratitude to the donors who contributed to the success of this social activity.
Meanwhile, Nadia, one of the orphans’ parents, expressed her gratitude for the assistance received. She hopes social activities like this can continue so that more people can be helped.
Through this social action, the GEPLAK Journalists Forum affirms its commitment to not only being a provider of information, but also being part of social solutions.
