Jumbleng Village Head Suyanto Successfully Develops Independent Cattle Farm Targeting 300 Head
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – Village Head Suyanto, entrepreneur and Head of Jumbleng Village, Losarang District, Indramayu Regency, has successfully developed an independent cattle farm since 2019. Located in the Jumbleng Village Development Block, this farm is now an example of successful village economic development based on local potential, Sunday (January 11, 2026).
The farm focuses on raising PO Kebumen, Lemosin, and local cattle. To date, approximately 5 hectares of land have been prepared and cleared, which will be used for pens, fattening areas, and other livestock support.
This livestock program is a long-term, independent program spanning five years, with a target population of 300 head. In the initial phase, approximately 40 head of cattle are available for fattening.
Not only has this business impacted the livestock sector, but it has also brought significant changes to the village infrastructure. Previously damaged, muddy, and resembling buffalo wallows and forested areas, the road has now been transformed into a decent and well-maintained access road, approximately 13 kilometers long.
The local community has enthusiastically welcomed this change. Residents believe that the presence of this cattle farm not only opens up new economic opportunities but also improves accessibility and promotes village development.
“Thank God, the community is very supportive and enthusiastic. This is not just a personal endeavor, but also promotes village progress and shared prosperity,” said Village Head Suyanto.
Going forward, the cattle farm in Jumbleng Village is expected to become a leading livestock center, as well as a concrete example of how a consistently managed independent program can have a positive impact on village development and the community’s economy.
