“We live in a community and must maintain close ties, foster Islamic brotherhood, and pray for one another,” he said.
“If we are frequently prayed for by religious scholars in every gathering of knowledge, then we must also pray for the religious scholars and religious teachers to stay healthy. And let’s not forget the people in our region, especially the people of Jatinegara, to always pray for them,” said Suhartono.
“Because good prayers, goodness, are truly for us,” said Suhartono, in his remarks on the auspicious occasion of the joint dawn prayer service at the Al Ishlah Mosque on Jalan Otista 1A, Bidaracina, Jatinegara, Jakarta.
He further conveyed that the community should maintain a safe and comfortable situation for everyone. “With your permission,” he said humbly, “I represent the Sub-district Head in this speech. On this auspicious occasion, representing the Sub-district Head, Dr. Endang Kartika, SKM, MM, who was unable to attend this morning due to a roll call, I was assigned to attend and deliver a welcoming speech.
“The Sub-district Head, I extend my greetings of Ta’dzim to the religious scholars, the joint dawn prayer committee and the Al Ishlah Mosque community, as well as the community and the joint dawn prayer congregation of Jatinegara.” “Continue to encourage goodness among the Jatinegara community to create a safe, comfortable, and conducive environment for each of us. The village head also urged mosques and prayer rooms to have fire extinguishers. “We must be vigilant at all times. And, in accordance with the instructions of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Dr. Ir. Pramono Anung Wibowo, on New Year’s Eve, we urge the people of Jakarta, especially the residents of Jatinegara, not to hold fireworks parties.”
Attending the joint dawn prayer on Sunday (December 28, 2025), were teachers Habib Hud bin Bagir Al Athos, the Joint Dawn Prayer Committee, H. Didi, Ahmad Mawardi, Sudrajat, Ustad H. Idris, Ustad Mulud and Slamet, Aprin, Ustad Lukman, Ustad Adjat, Ustadz Sehabudin, and Abi Mukhlis. Anto Gonrong, Hendri Suhendar, Ustadz Mustaridon, Idris Nurul Islam, H Asrofi, and many more attended Al Ishlah, along with the Jatinegara community.
