Is the Politicization of Indramayu’s Regionally-Owned Enterprises Questioned?

Nurpan’s selection as the new President Director of the Indramayu Regional Water Company (PDAM) is not surprising. Since the inauguration of Regent and Vice Regent Luki Sae, Nurpan’s name has been mentioned as a replacement for Bocil, just as Robani was in line to become President Director of the Indonesian Wisdom Board (BWI).
Both rumors have now come to fruition, demonstrating that Regent Luki Hakim is committed to his nominating party. This is common practice in political practice.
Two factors benefit Nurpan’s position as PDAM President Director:
First, the bureaucratic culture in Indramayu places little importance on accountability, performance, and achievements. Despite the negative criticism surrounding Bocil, he remains safe.
Second, as long as he is favored by the Regent as the Authorized Capital Owner (KPM), he will be safe.
So there’s no need to encourage him to learn from Little One’s skills; Nurpan seems more skilled.
Is that true?
