PASIR PANGARAYAN-JAYA NEWS.COM – The Pasir Pangarayan Class IIB Penitentiary (Lapas) attended the Crowning Ceremony of Dr. Haji Tengku Afrizal Dachlan, M.M., as King of Luhak Rambah, with the title of Sutan Zainal as Yang Dipertuan Besar on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Pasir Pengaraian City Park, Rokan Hulu Regency.
The solemn ceremony was attended by various representatives of the local government, traditional leaders, community leaders, and the Rokan Hulu Regency Forkopimda (Regional Leadership Communication Forum). The presence of the Pasir Pangarayan Class IIB Prison at this event demonstrates its support for the preservation of culture, customs, and local wisdom that are the identity of the Rokan Hulu community.
The Head of Pasir Pangarayan Class IIB Prison, Efendi Parlindungan Purba, through the Head of General Affairs, Weddy Suanda Putra, who attended the ceremony, stated that the participation of Pasir Pangarayan Prison staff in this traditional event demonstrates their commitment to consistently synergize with the local government and community.
