Commemorating National Transportation Day and the Prophet’s Birthday, DWP Ministry of Transportation is holding an online study

JAKARTA-JAYA NEWS.COM – In commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and National Transportation Day, Dharma Wanita Perempuan (DWP) Ministry of Transportation held a Muslim Study via Zoom meeting, Wednesday 17 September 2025, with the theme “Imitating the Prophet in Building a Caring and Compassionate Society”.

This activity aims to strengthen the feeling of love for the Prophet and make him the best example in life. Apart from that, this activity also aims to deepen understanding of the human values ​​and compassion taught by the Prophet Muhammad.

The theme of this study is very relevant to the current condition of society, where human values ​​and compassion are increasingly important in building a harmonious society. The aim of this study is to understand how Rasulullah SAW built a caring and compassionate society, and how we can emulate him in our daily lives.

This study was presented by Hj. Shofwatunnida Syathiry, M.Ag., was the speaker.

This Muslim study was held online via Zoom, allowing participation from all members and administrators of DWP work units throughout Indonesia.

*Emulating the Prophet Muhammad*

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was known as a figure full of compassion and care for others. He taught the importance of treating others well, respecting their rights, and building harmonious relationships within the community. In this study, participants learned how the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) built a caring and compassionate society through examples relevant to everyday life.

The speaker reminded them that a Muslim should have a pure heart (Qolbun salim), and avoid a heart full of disease (Qolbun marij) and a dead heart (Qolbun mayitun).
“Emulating the Prophet Muhammad with a good heart, good speech, and good deeds,” continued Ustadzah Hj. Shofwatunnida Syathiry, M.Ag.

The speaker also reminded everyone to be a pleasant person to those around them, in their environment, by: 1. Daimal Bisri (a pleasant person); 2. Syahlal Khuluqi (a person with good morals, making things easy for others, habitually speaking kindly and speaking gently, listening to complaints patiently, practicing deliberation, being patient in listening, not listening to others’ conversations, and patiently listening to complaints).
3. Lainul Janib (Gentleman towards others).

The Muslim Zoometing study concluded with a question and answer session from participants and the distribution of door prizes to those who asked and answered questions. This activity is expected to provide a deeper understanding of the values ​​of humanity and compassion taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). By understanding and emulating the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), we can build a more caring and compassionate society.

This event is one of the efforts of the Ministry of Transportation’s DWP to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of humanitarian values ​​and compassion in everyday life.**
