The Lintang Songo Council Holds Monthly Event to Commemorate the Prophet’s Birthday
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – The Lintang Songo Sholawat Council held its monthly event to coincide with the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday on Friday evening, September 5, 2025, or 12 Rabiul Awwal 1447 AH. The event took place at the residence of Tarkidin, the caretaker of the Lintang Songo Council in Ujungaris Village, Widasari District, Indramayu Regency.
The event was attended by students, the Ujungaris Village community, members of the IPNU-IPPNU Widasari District, and neighbors. A solemn atmosphere pervaded the event from beginning to end.
As the speaker, Ustadz Ahmad Atiurrohman emphasized the importance of emulating the Prophet Muhammad in daily life. He emphasized that the Prophet’s example is a blessing that brings blessings to the universe. “Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent not only for Muslims, but for the entire universe. Our duty as his followers is to emulate his morals, so that his blessings can truly be felt in our social lives,” said Ustadz Ahmad.
Furthermore, Ustadz Ahmad Khoeri, manager of the S16 Library and Relima of the National Library of Indonesia, Lokus Indramayu, delivered a message regarding the importance of historical literacy and the biography of the Prophet. “Studying the history of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is not just for knowledge, but for absorption. By understanding his life journey, we can instill exemplary values that are deeply rooted within us,” said Ustadz Ahmad Khoeri.
Meanwhile, Tarkidin, as the host, expressed gratitude and pride that this year’s Maulid Nabi celebration could be held at his residence. “Usually, the Maulid celebration is held at the Darul Ulum Ujungaris prayer room. This year, Allah has given us the opportunity to hold the event at my home. This is a great honor for our family, and may it bring blessings to us all,” said Tarkidin.
The event closed with the reading of prayers together and prayers, accompanied by a warm atmosphere full of love for the Prophet Muhammad.
