JAKARTA-JAYA NEWS.COM – Sharon, a beautiful young Indonesian, has emerged as the winner of Miss Teen Education International 2025, winning the title of “Miss Teen Tourism Globe 2025” in the host Philippines.
Sharon’s unique strengths include promoting Indonesian tourism through ethnic cultures. She showcases Javanese customs, Jaipong dance, and her wayang-themed costumes. It turns out that foreigners are very impressed with our traditional costumes. Sharon feels proud that our culture is recognized internationally.
“I don’t feel any challenges, because I happen to speak English and Mandarin. However, I do need to learn more about tourism insights and issues in this country in the future so I can better promote it in my own way,” Sharon told reporters on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
Sharon added that she welcomes criticism and suggestions to the Indonesian government, especially the Ministry of Tourism. Clearly, we are further promoting and intensifying our efforts to attract tourists by improving infrastructure, prioritizing tourist safety and comfort, so that our tourism sector can create more jobs in the future.
And we hope to expand the number of tourism education schools, which will ultimately create more jobs in the future.
“My motivation for participating in this event is that I want to achieve at a young age and also want to inspire teenagers to start becoming active, high-achieving teenagers from a young age, especially in the field of education. “It also happens that the grand finale is on August 8th, which is International Father’s Day, so I wanted to give my dad the best gift possible,” she continued, adding, “And also, as a young Indonesian, I wanted to give him a small gift on the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.”
Sharon also expressed her deepest gratitude to the General Chair of YPPDPI, Febi Oktora, and the National Director of YPPDPI, Fadil, who have truly guided, accompanied, and supported me throughout my journey from the beginning to this moment, and until I became the Winner of International Miss Teen Tourism Globe 2025. I wouldn’t have achieved this without YPPDPI’s support.
Sharon has proven that young Indonesians are capable of shining on the world stage. Her success at Miss Teen Tourism Globe 2025 not only makes her family and Indonesia proud, but also inspires other young people to continue working and preserving the nation’s cultural heritage.*
