The 2025 Sarbumusi Confederation Branch Meeting and Upgrading Call for Prosperous Indonesian Workers
KUNINGAN-JAYA NEWS.COM – Indonesia’s strength in social and economic development can be measured by the prosperity of its people. The Indramayu Regency Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of the Indonesian Muslim Workers’ Union Confederation (Sarbumusi) at its Work Meeting and Upgrading in Kuningan on August 9-10, 2025, pledged to develop work programs that promote the prosperity of Indonesian Muslim workers, particularly in Indramayu Regency, during its 2025-2030 term.
The Work Meeting and Upgrading activities represent a crucial opportunity to increase collective capacity and competency in advocacy and implementation of the Sarbumusi Indramayu movement. This aligns with Anas Ghozali’s speech, which stated that every institution and sector must carry out organizational work that impacts the welfare and safety of Indonesian Muslim workers in Indramayu.
“The Sarbumusi Confederation Branch Office (DPC) of the Indramayu Regency is determined to be an organization that fights for the welfare and safety of workers,” said Anas Ghozali in his remarks.
The two-day activities held at Pondok Cilega Kuningan included a working meeting, management upgrading, a review of government policies on the plight of workers, and building the values of friendship and leadership within the management. This aligns with the draft Working Meeting prepared by Secretary General Arif Kurniawan Hidayat.
“The draft Working Meeting is simple and focuses on the application of the movement within the community. Sarbumusi is here in Indramayu to advocate for and fight for the welfare of Indonesian Muslim workers,” said Arif Kurniawan Hidayat in presenting the agenda.
The Working Meeting and Upgrading were attended by 36 administrators from every institution and sector who expressed their commitment during their inauguration a month ago in Indramayu.
The new leadership of Regent Lucky Hakim and Deputy Regent H. Syaefudin provides a central platform for voicing support for the betterment of Indramayu workers. The administrators in attendance agreed that in order for Indonesia to become a developed nation, clarity is needed regarding the fate of workers and other professions in Indramayu.**
