The Director of Indramayu State Polytechnic Officially Opens Batch 2 of Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KAA) Training

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) technology are currently having a significant impact on various sectors of life. While AI is claimed to make human work easier, teachers and the younger generation must be wiser and more selective in using AI, as the information provided by AI is not entirely accurate and truthful.
The Training Organizing Institution (LPD) of Indramayu State Polytechnic held Batch 2 of Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KKA) Training.
The event was officially opened by the Director of Indramayu State Polytechnic, Ir. Rofan Aziz, S.T., M.T., IPM, and the Board of Directors of Indramayu State Polytechnic. The training took place from Monday to Friday, July 14th to 18th, 2025, at the Student Center (GSC) Building of Indramayu State Polytechnic.
The Chief Executive and Head of the Integrated Laboratory Academic Implementation Unit (UPA), Moh. Ali Fikr, explained that the Batch 2 Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KKA) Training was attended by 71 participants: 17 high school or vocational school teachers and 54 elementary school teachers. The Indramayu State Polytechnic Training Institution (LPD) opened three classes: two for elementary school (SD) and one for high school (SMA) or vocational school (SMK). This similar training activity attracted a lot of attention from teachers at the Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP), which focuses on information technology. Therefore, in the future, more training participants will be from high school and vocational high school levels.
Furthermore, at the opening of the Batch 2 Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KKA) Training, the Indramayu State Polytechnic Training Institution (LPD) also invited representatives from the Indramayu Regency Education Office and the Regional Office of Education (KCD) Region IX of West Java Province, represented by Dr. H. Asmadi, M.Si., the Middle School Supervisor of the West Java Province Education Office Region IX Branch.
At the opening of the Batch 2 Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KKA) Training, he presented material on deep learning-based learning policies, said the Head of the Batch 2 Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KKA) Training Committee.
The Regional Office of Education (KCD) Region IX of West Java Province expressed its gratitude to the Indramayu State Polytechnic Training Institution (LPD) for facilitating the Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KKA) Training.
“It is hoped that the teachers will master the lessons they participate in, thereby improving their competency as teachers and sharing the material they have learned during the training with fellow teachers in their respective areas,” said Dr. H. Asmadi, M.Si., representative of the KCD Region IX of West Java Province.
Meanwhile, Hendra Eko Sutejo, a participant in the Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KAA) Training 2, representing the UPTD SDN 1 Juntikebon, stated that
training activities like this are greatly needed by teachers at the elementary school level. In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), teachers should not be less knowledgeable than their students when it comes to artificial intelligence technology. Instead, educators must be able to provide students with an understanding of not relying entirely on AI in their daily lives.
Samro, a representative of the UPTD SDN Sukawera, added,
The Coding and Artificial Intelligence (KKA) Training Batch 2 is greatly needed by teachers at SDN Sukawera. Through training like this, teachers and educators can improve their competencies in AI and help improve education, especially at the elementary school level.
Wadi Nuryadi, a representative from SMKN NU Kaplongan Karang Ampel, added that
IT training or technical guidance is urgently needed for teachers, as not all teachers understand how to utilize artificial intelligence technology.
“I often use artificial intelligence to find additional information related to education,” he concluded.**
