The President’s Wise Decision to Return 4 Islands to Aceh, Can Be a Guarantee of Support from the People Without Hesitation and Doubt

The results of a closed meeting at the State Palace led directly by President Prabowo Subianto, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, decided that the four islands belonging to Aceh Province are included in the Aceh Singkil Province. This decision is based on official government documents that have long been recorded in Law No. 24 of 1956 and the 2005 Helsinki agreement.
The meeting, which was attended by various parties, including the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, the Governor of Aceh, Muzakir Manaf, and the State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, acknowledged that the decision was based on official documents showing that the four islands — Panjang Island, Lipan Island, Mangkir Ketek Island and Mangkir Panjang Island are included in the administrative area of Aceh Province.
The commotion sparked by the Ministry of Home Affairs after determining that the four islands belonged to the Province of North Sumatra had heated up and the Acehnese war drums were ready to be ignited, because it had offended the dignity of the Acehnese people. This means that President Prabowo Subianto’s firm decision to stop the commotion and chaos in the governance of this republic is truly commendable. It will only remain a problem and cause disaster if those who have clearly created commotion and chaos in this country are not immediately cleaned up, because at a later time they will make trouble again which can disrupt the concentration of the President and the Red and White Cabinet to organize the chaos of this country due to the actions of the previous regime which only sought profit for themselves, their families and their gangs who are still entrenched in the Red and White Cabinet.
President Prabowo Subianto’s firm stance will receive full support from the entire community, to carry out the cleanup, because only then will it prove that there is a guarantee that the government will be run properly and correctly, leaving no hidden affairs. So, the President’s firm stance that has been taken can be a guarantee without a doubt, if the many cabinet cleaning actions are like thorns in the flesh that are not immediately cleaned, so that the support of all the people can be restored and carried out without hesitation for all forms of policies that will be carried out by President Prabowo Subianto next for the sake of and for the nation and state of Indonesia that we love.***
