Indramayu Regency Government Fully Supports Eradication of Thuggery for a Healthy Investment Climate
INDRAMAYU-JAYANEWS.COM- The Indramayu Regency Government has expressed its full support for the central government’s policy in eradicating thuggery. This was conveyed directly by the Deputy Regent of Indramayu, H. Syaefudin, in an official statement.
According to Deputy Regent Syaefudin, eradicating thuggery is an important step in the Indramayu Reang vision in creating an investment climate in Indramayu Regency.
“We want investment in Indramayu to be truly safe and comfortable. This is in line with the vision of Indramayu reang, safe, and comfortable. The government is also committed to facilitating licensing so that investors feel served and protected,” he said, Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
He emphasized that the success of maintaining regional conduciveness is not only the responsibility of the security forces alone, but also requires the active role of the media and the community.
“We do not want any more acts of thuggery that damage the social and economic order. Let us together maintain Indramayu so that it remains open and friendly to investors,” he added.
Furthermore, the Indramayu Regency Government also appealed to the public to be able to distinguish between legal community organizations (ormas) that carry out social functions, and groups of thugs who act outside the law.
The government is committed to taking firm steps against parties proven to disturb public security and comfort.
With the anti-thuggery movement that is echoed up to the central level and supported by strategic steps from the regional government, it is hoped that positive changes can be felt immediately by the community in their daily lives.
