PDI Perjuangan Indramayu Commemorates Pancasila Birth Day with Ceremony and Discussion
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – In order to commemorate Pancasila Birth Day on June 1, the PDI Perjuangan Indramayu DPC held a flag ceremony and national discussion, which was held in the yard of the PDI Perjuangan Indramayu Regency DPC office, Sunday (1/6/2025).
The activity was attended by all administrators of the PDI Perjuangan Indramayu DPC, Members of the PDI Perjuangan Faction of the Indramayu DPRD, Chairperson Secretary Treasurer of the PDI Perjuangan Agency and Wings, and PACs throughout Indramayu Regency, with the theme “Be Faithful to Your Source” and the subtheme “Our Strength Must Remain Sourced from the Strength of the People, the Fire of the People’s Spirit Remains”.
The Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan Indramayu Branch, H. Sirojudin S.P., M.Si, in his speech emphasized that the birth of Pancasila is not just a ceremonial commemoration, but also a momentum to reflect on the noble values contained in Pancasila.
He said that this reflection is important so as not to forget the nation’s identity and to continue to instill the values of Pancasila in the life of the nation and state.
After the ceremony, the activity continued with a National Discussion with the theme “Exploring Bung Karno’s Thoughts, Relevance and Critical Context of 100 Days of Indramayu Reang”. This discussion presented KH Adlan Daie who is a Political Observer, H. Edi Fauzi Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan Faction of the Indramayu DPRD, H. Sirojudin who is also Deputy Chairman of the Indramayu DPRD, with moderator Nanang Qosim Deputy Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan Indramayu Branch.
This discussion is a space for reflection and strengthening of nationalist values and understanding of the challenges of implementing Pancasila in the modern era.
This activity is expected to be an inspiration for all PDI Perjuangan cadres and the wider community to continue to maintain, practice and revive Pancasila in everyday life, amidst the ever-growing social and political dynamics.
In addition, all PDI Perjuangan Indramayu cadres are also asked to be at the grassroots, who hear and see firsthand the conditions of the Indramayu people in responding to the realization of Lucky Syaefuddin’s government program.
The PDI Perjuangan Faction of the Indramayu DPRD, as an extension of the party in parliament, is expected to be able to liaise the aspirations of cadres and the people of Indramayu to continue to voice to the executive, both social problems and public facilities in Indramayu.
