Polindra’s Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Completes First Phase of Final Project Defense
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS COM – The Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering (D3) study program (Prodi) of Indramayu (Polindra) completed its first phase of final project defense, held on the Indramayu State Polytechnic campus.
Tri Haryanti, S.T., M.T., the Lecturer Coordinator for the 2025 Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Final Project Defense, explained on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, that the Final Project Defense at Indramayu State Polytechnic, just like the Engineering Department and the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Study Program (Prodi), is mandatory for students in the sixth semester because it is a requirement for graduation.
Tri stated that the Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Final Project Defense at Indramayu State Polytechnic is divided into two phases. The first phase was completed from July 14-21, lasting one week. A total of 14 students participated in the final project defense.
Next, registration for the second phase will open from July 25-31. The Final Project Examination for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering will be held from August 4 to August 18, 2025. A total of 76 students will participate in the Final Project Examination for the Diploma 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering program.
One of the students who has completed the first phase of the Final Project Examination for the Diploma 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering program is Ach Irfan Nuril Fahmi. His Final Project is titled “Design and Testing of an Air Blast Freezer Refrigeration System for Freezing Mango Purée.” His supervisor is Wardika, S.ST., M.Eng.
“To carry out the Final Project, students will be formed into teams or groups of three students, each with a variety of components, such as monitors, temperature controllers, alarms, and other devices,” said Tri Haryanti.
Tri added his message to students completing the second phase of their final assignments: “Be enthusiastic and don’t let up, as they’re not yet finished. They must maintain their enthusiasm and strive for excellence. He hopes that all students taking their final assignments will graduate on time and that no one will be left behind.
He also hopes that students who have completed the first phase of their final assignments will complete their revisions quickly so that their grades can be released quickly. After graduation, they can decide whether to work for a company, become entrepreneurs, or continue on to a higher level, such as a bachelor’s degree.
