D’BRUG, the Bridge to Success, Has Now Produced 19 Generations
LOSARI CIREBON-JAYA NEWS.COM – Founded in 1994 by Ahmad Fajari, Ein Sugerdiman, Wahid Rohmansyah, and Caryan, the four of them used to play music on bridges or Brug (traditional bridges) around Karangsari and Karang Tangsi. Brug is interpreted as a bridge to success.
Memet, Ahmad Fajari’s nickname, explained this, beginning his story of his struggles in the entertainment world on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
“Initially, it was Malay pop, then it shifted to rock, hard rock, and then speed rock,” Memet explained about the D’BRUG music genre he pursues.
He continued, explaining that during his time, he often participated in parades and festivals in Ciayumajakuning, Tegal, Brebes, from 1998 to 2005.
“Thank God, we were blessed with the opportunity to bring home prizes and trophies several times. We even played opening act for Jamrud’s concert at PAI Tegal in 2001,” he explained.
Memet continued, explaining that, despite changing age and economic needs, we tried our hand at dangdut, tarling, and pop, entertaining residents and busking in various venues to support our families and the Dbrug studio. Over time, Dbrug evolved into a community, including the Dbrug community, the Dbrug street community, the Dbrug community, and Dbrug entertainment. The goal is to continue supporting street buskers in the border areas of West Java and Central Java.
“To date, we have produced 19 generations, and our address is Losari Kidul Village, Cirebon Regency,” he concluded.
