Article 504 and 505 of the Criminal Code

Some got off at the Sekorip intersection and some got off at the Toang Jendil intersection (Tinumpuk).
In fact, articles 504 and 505 of the Criminal Code prohibit begging. However, these provisions do not apply, because they are not part of the routine agenda of APH, Trantib and Pemdes activities.
While the results of begging are greater than the wages of farm laborers.
Begging, according to information, can earn Rp. 150,000 per day. While farm laborers, with hot and muddy weather, only get Rp. 100,000 per day.
If begging goes on for a long time and is allowed by the community and the government, then begging is a job.
In Cakung, East Jakarta, beggars from Indramayu are coordinated, every morning at around 06.00 WIB they are dropped off at a red light. In the afternoon they are picked up by the coordinator.
