INDRAMAYU-JAYANEWS.COM – The poetry collection “Harvesting the Reeds of Poetry” (Memanen Ilalang Puisi) by Supali Kasim, featuring a foreword by Adlan Daie, will be a primary work discussed during the “Language Month” (Bulan Bahasa) event at the UDM Kaplongan campus in November 2026.
This was announced on Saturday, October 24, 2026, by Adlan Daie, Chairman of the 1993 Indramayu Literature Forum and author of the book’s foreword.
“The book review session will commence with a keynote speech by Dr. Tobroni, Rector of UDM Kaplongan,” added Adlan Daie, who currently serves as the General Secretary of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) for Indramayu Regency.
To provide an in-depth analysis of the work, the organizing committee has invited speakers from various regions, including Acep Zam Zam Noer (a poet from Tasikmalaya), Adlan Daie (Chairman of the 1993 Indramayu Literature Forum and author of the foreword), and a language lecturer from UDM Kaplongan.
The book is expected to serve as a catalyst for a revival of poetry-related literacy in Indramayu and provide a foundation for critical discussion among students and literature enthusiasts.
