JAKARTA-JAYANEWS.COM — An Nur Mosque, located at Jalan Cipinang Lontar RT 015 RW 06, Cipinang Muara Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, will hold a Grand Maulid event on Monday, August 24, 2026, coinciding with 12 Rabiul Awal 1448 Hijriyah.
The event will begin after the Isha prayer and is open to the public.
This was announced by Ustadz Triyono, Treasurer of An Nur Mosque and Head of the Maulid Event Committee, in an interview with JAYANEWS.COM.
“Alhamdulillah, we will hold a Grand Maulid. Insyaa Allah on Monday, August 24, 2026 / 12 Rabiul Awal 1448 Hijriyah at An Nur Mosque. We invite all worshippers to attend and bring along friends, neighbors, and fellow congregants,” he said.
Guest Speaker and Feast for 500 Attendees
The commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s birthday will feature religious lectures by prominent Islamic scholars. The main speaker scheduled to attend is KH. Abdul Basit Hambali, S.Ag.
The committee has also prepared meals for the congregation.
“Insyaa Allah we will provide 100 trays of Kebuli rice and drinks including coffee, ginger tea, sweet tea, and bottled mineral water for 500 attendees,” said Ustadz Triyono.
The event is also expected to be attended by local officials including RT and RW heads, the Urban Village Head, Subdistrict Head, Babinsa, LMK, as well as congregants from Islamic study groups across 8 urban villages in Jatinegara District.
Ongoing Religious Activities and Mosque Renovation
Ustadz Triyono expressed gratitude to all donors and benefactors who support the mosque’s Islamic outreach and da’wah activities.
An Nur Mosque regularly holds social and religious programs. Every day from 5:00 PM until Isha, it runs an Iqra Quran recitation class for 50 children. Each month, the mosque also distributes aid to 50-100 people in need.
Currently, the mosque is undergoing renovation. Of the total budget of Rp800 million, Rp500 million has already been spent. Another Rp300 million is still needed to complete plastering, ceiling work, 2 doors, 2 windows, and labor costs.
“We are still seeking funds from donors and the Muslim community so that An Nur Mosque can be more comfortable for worship and Islamic outreach. Khoirunnas Anfa’uhum Linnas The best of people are those who benefit others,” he concluded.
The Grand Maulid is organized in cooperation with the mosque’s DKM, Ustadz Sukarmi, Secretary Farel Ikhwansyah, and the mosque’s youth who are actively fundraising.**
