Subsidized Fertilizer Absorption in Indramayu Reaches 94 Percent, Highest in History
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) announced that its subsidized fertilizer distribution performance in Indramayu Regency has shown very positive results. By 2025, subsidized fertilizer absorption in the region had reached 94 percent of the total allocated allocation.
According to Pupuk Indonesia data, the allocation of subsidized fertilizer in Indramayu Regency in 2025 was recorded at 132,132 tons, with actual distribution reaching 126,263 tons. This achievement reflects the effectiveness of fertilizer distribution in supporting the agricultural sector in the largest food barn area in West Java Province.
In detail, absorption of NPK fertilizer reached 59,883 tons, Urea distributed 66,561 tons, and ZA fertilizer recorded 179 tons.
Pupuk Indonesia confirmed that this achievement is the highest in the history of subsidized fertilizer distribution in Indramayu Regency. This high absorption demonstrates increasingly optimal fertilizer distribution management and the increasing demand for subsidized fertilizer by farmers.
The increase in subsidized fertilizer absorption in Indramayu is inseparable from the streamlining of agricultural policies by the Central Government, which facilitates farmers’ access to fertilizer. Furthermore, Pupuk Indonesia’s consistent availability of fertilizer, the support of all Distribution Business Actors (PUD), the role of Recipients at Delivery Points (PPTS)/kiosks, and collaboration with agricultural extension workers in Indramayu Regency are also key factors in the distribution success.
“The maximum distribution of subsidized fertilizer is also fully supported by the Indramayu Regency Government under the leadership of Regent Lucky Hakim and Deputy Regent H. Syaefudin, as well as the active role of the Indramayu Regency Food Security and Agriculture Agency and all its staff in ensuring fertilizer distribution reaches its intended targets,” said Adhitya Herwin Dwiputra, Sales Manager for West Java 1 of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
On this occasion, Adhitya Herwin Dwiputra, Sales Manager for West Java 1 of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), urged all PUDs and PPTSs in Indramayu Regency to consistently adhere to applicable regulations and comply with administrative procedures in distributing subsidized fertilizer.
He emphasized that Pupuk Indonesia will not tolerate any irregularities. If any indication of fraud or non-compliance with administrative procedures is found, a thorough evaluation will be conducted, possibly leading to termination of the partnership, in accordance with the direction of the Minister of Agriculture and the President Director of PT Pupuk Indonesia.
Pupuk Indonesia hopes that this shared commitment from all stakeholders can be maintained to support national food security and improve the welfare of farmers in Indramayu Regency.**
