Free Mass Wedding in Indramayu, 5 Selected Couples Receive Dowry and Free Hotel Accommodation
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – The Ministry of Religious Affairs (KEMENAG) in Indramayu held a free mass wedding program at the Indramayu Ministry of Religious Affairs office on Jalan Olah Raga No. 03, Indramayu. This program aims to assist underprivileged couples and educate them about the importance of marriage registration.
According to Jaya News Com’s field observations on Tuesday (December 9, 2025), the event took place at the Indramayu Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs office.
Five selected couples will get married free of charge, with the dowry and hotel accommodation covered by the government. The Chairman of PCAPRI (Branch Management of the Association of Religious Leaders of the Republic of Indonesia),
Abdurrasyid Ridho, M.A.G, emphasized that participants in the mass wedding were strictly selected to ensure only eligible couples were selected.
This program also aims to prevent the practice of cohabitation and raise public awareness about the importance of officially registering marriages.””
