The activity, held on Friday, October 24, 2025, featured a variety of engaging activities, including a reading stall, literacy outreach, interactive dialogues about golden youth, and educational games.

The event was attended by various important figures, including the Chairperson of the YAPIIM Indramayu Foundation, the Sub-district Head of Indramayu, and the Caretaker of the Nahdlotul Mubtadiin Al Islamy Islamic Boarding School. The presence of these figures demonstrated concrete support for the literacy movement among the younger generation.

The participants, consisting of students from SMK YAPIIM Indramayu, appeared enthusiastic and motivated to become future youth ready to face the challenges of the times with the skills they have honed through literacy activities.

The Principal of SMK YAPIIM Indramayu, Humaedi, S.Ag., emphasized the importance of this activity in shaping the character and competency of young people. “This Golden Youth Literacy event is crucial for encouraging young people to improve their capacity. With literacy, they can be more productive and ready to compete in the future,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Khoeri, M.Pd., a Community Literacy Volunteer (Relima) for Indramayu and speaker, delivered a profound message to the students. “We must not become rotten fruit from the tree. This means that from a young age, we must grow into quality youth so that we can be useful in Indonesia’s development,” he said during an interactive dialogue session.

Support for this activity also came from Tarkidin, a member of the S16 Library, who stated that this program is part of the ongoing literacy movement in Indramayu. “The Pusmolis S16 Go To School program, with its various activities, is part of building a literacy ecosystem in Indramayu,” he explained.
