Indramayu Hajj Guidance Group (FK KBIH) Holds Kick-Off for 2026 Simultaneous Hajj Practices: Initial Preparation for Pilgrims
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – The Indramayu Regency Hajj Guidance Group Communication Forum (FK KBIH) officially launched the Kick-Off for the Simultaneous Hajj Guidance for 1447 H/2026 AD.
The launch event was held at the Integrated Hajj and Umrah Service Center (PLHUT) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Indramayu on Saturday (September 20, 2025), and was marked by a press conference attended by several important figures.
Also present at the event were the Chairman of the West Java Regional Executive Board of FK KBIHU, KH. Moh. Syatori; the Chairman of FK KBIH Indramayu, KH. Mustofa; the Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Indramayu, Dr. H. Aghuts Muhaimin; and the Chairman of FKUB Indramayu, KH. Syaerozi Bilal, along with representatives from all KBIH (Islamic Boards) in Indramayu Regency.
According to the agreement reached, all 11 KBIHs in Indramayu Regency will begin holding basic Hajj manasik guidance simultaneously starting Sunday (September 21, 2025).
This program is planned to be held in 15 meetings, with the main focus being to provide comprehensive guidance to prospective Hajj pilgrims before their departure for the Holy Land.
The Head of the FK KBIH Indramayu, KH. Mustofa, emphasized the importance of early guidance so that pilgrims are better prepared to perform the pilgrimage.
“The goal is for prospective pilgrims to receive sufficient preparation from the start, understand the entire Hajj journey, and be able to perform their pilgrimage more perfectly while in the Holy Land,” he said on Saturday (September 20).
This basic Hajj ritual will cover all stages of the journey, from departure and the pilgrimage in Mecca and Medina, to the pilgrims’ return home.
The Head of the Indramayu Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dr. H. Aghuts Muhaimin, added that 2026 will be a crucial year because the central government, through the President and the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), has approved the establishment of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
“For the time being, the Ministry of Religious Affairs at the regency level will continue to assist with the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage process. Once the official nomenclature is issued, all Hajj activities will be transferred to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Indramayu FKUB, KH. Syaerozi Bilal, revealed that the number of prospective Hajj pilgrims from Indramayu Regency in 2025 will reach 1,700. He believes that the majority of pilgrims still require practical understanding.
“Therefore, the basic manasik guidance, which will be held over 15 meetings, will focus more on practical matters, so that pilgrims become accustomed to it and feel less confused when they arrive in the Holy Land,” he emphasized.
With this agreement, the Faculty of Medicine, Islamic Studies, and the Faculty of Hajj, Indramayu, is optimistic that prospective pilgrims will be better prepared physically and mentally, enabling them to perform the Hajj smoothly and achieve an accepted Hajj.**
