INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – Ali Mubarok, a student at the Hidayatul Mubtadi’ien Islamic Boarding School in Manggungan Terisi, has once again achieved a proud achievement, winning second place in the Indramayu Regency-wide Young Preacher Competition. The event was organized by the Indramayu Grand Mosque Student Council (DKM) to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on Wednesday (September 10, 2025).

In the competition, Ali Mubarok demonstrated his captivating preaching rhetoric, earning him a trophy and Rp750,000 in prize money.

Ahmad Khoeri, the Manager of the S16 Library and a Community Literacy Volunteer (Relima) at the National Library of Indonesia (Perpusnas RI) in Indramayu, also expressed his appreciation for this achievement. He stated that the victory was not only a personal achievement but also a reminder of the importance of fostering spaces for the younger generation. “The challenge for young people in the future is not only how they can achieve, but how to channel their interests and talents appropriately. This requires consistent guidance and development from teachers, parents, and the surrounding community,” he said.

In addition to actively preaching, after returning from the competition, Ali Mubarok also became involved as a literacy activist at the S16 Library, supporting the community literacy movement in Indramayu.

Abi Hamdi El Zubair, the caretaker of the Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien Islamic Boarding School, also offered advice and appreciation to the students under his care. “Those who are serious will surely succeed. Furthermore, success will be even stronger if combined with other good deeds. May Ali be a role model for other students,” he said.

On this occasion, Ali Mubarok expressed his gratitude and respect to his teachers and parents for their prayers and guidance that have led him to this achievement. “Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to Allah SWT for this opportunity. My deepest gratitude to my teachers and parents who have always educated, guided, and prayed for me. May this be the first step to continue serving on the path of da’wah,” he said respectfully.

Ali Mubarok’s achievements are expected to motivate other young people to continue honing their potential, both in religious matters and literacy, so they can provide greater benefits to society.**
