Proposal for Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Zoos & Endangered Animal Protection
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – With the vacant position of Deputy Minister of Manpower due to Noel becoming a suspect in a corruption case, President Prabowo is currently searching for a candidate for the position.
As part of the search for the right person to fill the vacant position, it has also been proposed to add a Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Zoos & Endangered Animal Protection.
This was conveyed by H. Dudung Badrun, SH MH, Legal Practitioner and Advisor to the Indramayu People’s Movement, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in Segeran Kidul, Indramayu.
“Because many zoos are poorly maintained, resulting in many animal deaths, such as the Tamansari Zoo in Bandung,” he explained.
He continued, “We, the people of Indramayu in particular, have discovered a figure who interacts with various types of animals on a daily basis, thus appearing to be deeply involved in the animal kingdom. This figure is already common knowledge: Lucki Hakim, the current Regent of Indramayu.
“The Indramayu region is experiencing a rat infestation, so he is solving it using his experience in the animal world, namely with a program to release 10,000 snakes.
Luki Hakim is unconcerned with public opinion and suggestions on how to address the rat infestation and other problems that can be addressed through political mechanisms,” H. Dudung continued.
“Perhaps Lucki Hakim is more deeply involved in the animal world than in politics.
Therefore, for the sake of the general public, it is proposed to President Prabowo that Lucki Hakim be appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Zoos & Endangered Animal Protection,” H. Dudung firmly stated.
